Samson

Hillview Samson, D.O.B 25.05.2012. Samson is a total gentleman that stands at 18hh. His favourite job is our Carriage Driving Experiences as soon as he sees the harness and bridles come out he gets so excited! Beth also competes him in hand and ridden at Agricultural Shows including The Royal Highland Show.

Mae

Bogton Maestro, 11.04.2020. Beth has known Mae ever since she was a foal and got the opportunity to purchase her when she was 2. Mae is trained to drive and has recently started the process of becoming a ridden horse too. Mae is the ultimate kids horse she loves everyone! she would stand for hours just to get attention, Mae places her head into children’s arms and wheelchairs so they can reach her. Mae also loves kids birthday parties and our seasonal events as she gets lots of pampering and covered in glitter to make her sparkle like the star she is.

Molly

Downhill Molly 17.05.2020. Molly is the one who started Beth’s Clydesdale addiction. Beth saved up to purchase Molly at the age of 18 when Molly was only a 8 month old foal growing up together and experiencing all the Clydesdale showing firsts together they have a very strong bond and will always be recognised as the baby in the herd. Molly is due to have a baby of her own this spring 2026 so we cannot wait to see the full circle moment. Molly is also trained for driving.

Gracie

Bogton Grace, D.O.B 22.05.2014. Gracie is a very independent lady that is food orientated and loves a good brush. Gracie is a broodmare and is the Mum of one of our other Mares Mae. Gracie is also mum to another 2 horses named Kinder and Luther, and is expecting a new baby this spring 2026

Gemma

Gemma D.O.B 01.04.2001. Gemma was Beths first ridden pony. Still owned and loved by Beth and kept alongside the Clydesdales on the farm along with Shetland Pony Charlie. Beth attended Aberdeenshire Pony Club and went to various shows together. Cross Country was both of their favourites. Gemma now enjoys a quiet life of going out for hacks and ridden by family and friends

Beth Noble

Beth 23 years old, Owner of Lochside Clydesdales. Beth’s favourite part of her job is sharing the joy that the horses give to her with others. Creating special moments for each individual and watching her own horses creating memorable moments for families and friends to cherish forever, from taking part in couples big days like weddings, to big birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions seasonal events or just the sharing the love of heavy horses. Being able to have her love and passion as a job and being able to spend all day with her best friends (The Clydesdales) is all 8 year old Beth could have ever dreamed of.

Grace & Morgan

Left to right Grace Noble, Morgan Johnstone, Beth Noble. Grace is Beth’s mum she loves taking part in the carriage rides and helping with taking in the horses in and giving them a groom. Grace has always loved travelling Beth and Gemma to pony club, lessons & competitions and been a large supporter in everything Beth does. Morgan Beth’s partner has gone from not a fan of horses to the biggest Clydesdale lover and now tells Beth who he wants to show in the ring (usually Mae) ! Morgan also makes all the haylage in the summer for keeping these hungry horses fed in the winter months. Morgan too is a large supporter in Beth and has enjoyed watching them both go from Molly to 4 Clydesdales with another 2 on the way.

Cerys, Catherine, Friends & Family

Lochside Clydesdales have a fantastic team of keen friends and family that help on our Experiences and Events that Beth organises. The grooms that you will see helping Beth when out on your Luxury Horse and Carriage experiences will be Cerys, Catherine & Tara who know the driving team Samson & Mae inside out. We also have Brenda, Graham, family and friends who are very enthusiastic volunteers that love getting stuck in to our seasonal events from painting to building and dressing up for christmas and halloween we have a great team here to welcome you on your visit to Lochside Clydesdales here in Banchory, Aberdeenshire.
